Who I train

Built for the people
the gym forgets.

Most trainers are set up for people who are already comfortable in a gym. I'm set up for everyone else — and I've spent fifteen years learning how to adapt a program to the person in front of me.

After physical therapy

PT got you out of pain. I pick up where it stops, so you keep the ground you gained instead of slowly losing it again.

Seniors

Strength is what keeps you independent, and it's never too late to build it. We go at your pace, and I'd rather you leave with something left in the tank than overdo it.

New moms

Rebuilding core and strength in a body that feels unfamiliar, at a pace that respects what it just did.

Total beginners

Never touched a dumbbell? Good. You'll learn the movements properly the first time instead of un-learning bad habits later.

Special needs

I raised my son with autism. Adaptive coaching isn't a checkbox for me — it's how I learned to train anyone.

See if I'm a fit for you

How it works

Four steps.
In this order.

Nothing here is a surprise, and nothing costs you anything until you've met me.

01

Free assessment

We talk through your goals, your history, any injuries, and what your week actually looks like. No charge, no pressure.

02

Your plan

A program built around your body, your schedule, and your equipment — plus nutrition if you want it.

03

We train

30 to 60 minutes, in the gym or on Zoom, WhatsApp, or Google Meet. I coach every rep, not just count them.

04

We adjust

We track what's working and change what isn't. The goal is that you eventually know enough to not need me.

Proof

Progress you
can point at.

Anyone can make you tired. The job is making you stronger, and the only way to know is to write it down. Every client gets a log, and every week we compare it to the last one.

About

Hi, I'm Mandy.

Mandy to most people, Amina to the rest. I've been training for over fifteen years and coaching clients for the last four. I'm a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor, nutritionist and licensed aesthetician — but mostly I'm someone who's spent a long time learning how bodies actually change.

I work with people the gym usually overlooks: someone just released from physical therapy, a new mom in a body that feels unfamiliar, a total beginner who's never touched a dumbbell, a client with special needs who deserves a program built around them rather than one they have to squeeze into.

I raised my son with autism holistically, and that taught me most of what I know about patience, adapting, and meeting a person where they actually are instead of where a program says they should be.

My job isn't to wreck you in an hour. It's to teach you how to move and how to eat, so that one day you don't need me.

Before you ask

The things
people worry about.

If you're hesitating, it's probably one of these. None of them are a reason not to start.

I've never worked out before.

Then you're exactly who I built this around. You don't need to get in shape first, know any exercises, or own anything. You show up to the assessment as you are and we go from there.

I just finished physical therapy.

This is a lot of what I do. Bring your discharge notes or whatever your PT sent you home with, and I'll build around it. If you're still under a provider's care, get their okay before we start — I'd rather work with your medical team than around them.

Does online coaching actually work?

Sessions are live on Zoom, WhatsApp or Google Meet, so I'm watching and correcting you in real time — not sending a PDF and hoping. You need a phone, a bit of floor space, and somewhere to prop the camera.

How often do I need to train?

Less than you'd think, and consistency beats frequency every time. We'll pick a number you can actually hold to at the assessment. One day a week you keep is worth more than four you quit.

What happens at the free assessment?

We talk through your goals, your history and your schedule, and I take you through some basic movements to see where you're starting. It's free, there's no obligation, and if I'm not the right coach for you I'll tell you so.
